Wigs For Kids
Back in 2012 I lost my mother to Cancer. I was telling her I wanted to do something to help others going thru this terrible disease or something to help raise awareness. She asked that I do something for the kids!
Last season Rob Florentino joined the Florida Everblades, we became friends quickly, he has a passion for helping kids like no other! This season after growing my hair for over 3 years I told him I wanted to cut it for Wigs for Kids. He was immediatly interested and wanted to join me in this! So working with Alex Reed we decide the Saturday April 2nd Rob, myself and my daughter Brittany would do it. Cut our hair for Wigs for Kids.
We are looking for others with at least 12 inches of available to be cut to join us! This will be done following the Everblades game at Germain Arena. If you hair is too short you can still help by making a donation! Each wig costs over $1800 to make and they charge ZERO dollars. They provide wigs for all different diseases not just cancer.
