Support Me

Hello,

My name is Dryzden Ramsay. I am a 11 year old sixth grader at Pineapple Cove Classical Academy in Palm Bay, Florida. Four years ago I have decided to grow my hair out and donate it to Wigs for Kids. The inspiration for my decision was my Mom. She is an amazing, loving and caring woman, who's been thought so much herself. In 2007 when my mom returned from Iraq she and my dad were given a beautiful gift from God......ME! But little did everyone know, I was sent by God to cause a little commotion with my mom's pregnancy in order for the doctors to save her life. Because of her pregnancy doctors were able to discover that she had two things growing inside of her; one was me and the other an enormous kidney cancer tumor. I was born on a beautiful June day (ironically under the zodiac sign of Cancer) at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC. You can say, in the 82nd Airborne Division's lingo, that I was "Sent from up above". My mom had to have many surgeries but God gave her more time with me, because her job wasn't over yet. She calls me her Angel from up above and always checks me for my Angel's wings. It's a little, silly thing we do together. I truly believe that each and every one of us has a purpose in this world and that we are all connected in order to help, respect and love one another. Since I was Blessed with a great head of hair I though it would only be fitting for me to do something great with it. I chose to give it to a boy or a girl like me who was fighting cancer. Wigs for Kids does not charge their kids for wigs, and that is what impressed me the most about them. I would hope that whoever reads my page would please kindly find it in their heart to take the time to support me and the wonderful organization like Wigs for Kids with donation no matter how small. It is very costly to manufacture these wigs and keep it free of charge to the deserving recipient.

Thank you All for visiting my page, taking the time to read it and most of all your generous contribution. May God Bless you all and keep you safe.

Sincerely,

Dryzden Ramsay
