                               $1800 Goal

                                Destinee:

My name is Destinee DePace I’m 17 and currently attending St.James High School. My family has a lot of on going cancer problems within the family, my dads mom has recently passed away from lung, brain and breast cancer she battled for such a long time and watching her go down hill from it I knew from there on out I had to try to help people that couldn’t help themselves. I wasn’t able to make a change but now I want to dedicate this page to make a change and raise money to help kids and adults with all kinds of cancer. EVERY little bit will help!!

                                 Ronda:

My name is Ronda Goodwin, I’m 16 years old and I am a Junior at St. James High School. My story started when I found out about my family history and their types of cancer. Most recently my Aunt Nina has a cancer scare about 3 years ago. They found cancer under her arm and did a surgery to try to remove it. Today she is cancer free. It takes one persons actions to make a difference so I decided I wanted to donate my hair so it could help with at least one child but then try to raise donations to help more.

                            Their Mission

Together we have been growing out our hair for years now knowing we wanted to somehow someway donate it for a great cause. We feel we are ready to complete this mission but before we do we want to get as much help as we can. So this page is set up to reach out to schools, businesses and fundraising events for donations for $1800 to help one child! Then the final event will be the cut - a - thon March 1 where you can join us to cut your locks to donate for Wigs for Kids!
